Broadway Intensive with Luke Yellin MON, APR 6, 2026 9 AM – 3 PM

Step inside the audition room and learn what it really takes to stand out. In this intensive workshop, Broadway performer Luke Yellin will guide students through the key elements of a successful musical theatre audition.

Students will work on:

Cutting a track or sheet music — a skill that often makes or breaks an audition. Learn how to create the perfect 16-bar audition cut that highlights your strengths.
Short movement/dance call — experience the type of choreography often taught at auditions.
Performing a short audition cut — each student will sing a 16-bar (or shorter) selection and receive guidance on presentation and delivery.
Audition preparation — what to wear, what to bring, headshots, and other essentials for walking into the audition room confidently.
Q&A about the entertainment industry — ask questions about Broadway, auditions, training, and building a career in theatre.

This workshop is designed to give performers a realistic audition experience while providing practical tools they can immediately use at school, community theatre, and professional auditions.

Students will leave with clear audition strategies, confidence, and a better understanding of what casting teams are looking for.
